Monthly ChildFinders Meeting

STEERING COMMITTEE:
1. website: Jeff Sonnenburg, for now (NEED permanent person to do website updates of cases and improve website)

3. communication to authorities: Jeff Sonnenburg, for now (NEED permanent person to email master consensus to local authorities and FBI)
4. eforms/epolls for cases: Jeff Sonnenburg, for now (NEED permanent person to create and report results of epolls)
5. newsletter: Jeff Sonnenburg for now (NEED permanent person to do weekly ezine of safety and recovery tips with any case updates)
6. accuracy-tracking: Jeff Sonnenburg for now (NEED permanent person to do weekly accuracy tracking and report)
7. follow-up on cases: Lu Pierro
8. networking for volunteers: Cheryl Leggatt
9. media: Angela Thomas
10. cases and Amber Alerts: Brenda Coffey
11. updating online poster: Jeff Sonnenburg, for now (NEED permanent person to weekly add the 20 new photos with links to poster)
12. organization of teams: NEED VOLUNTEER to maintain organization of teams, Leads and Summarizers

We are also putting together a Board of Directors of outside people with specific experience or connections so if you or someone you know has these abilities, please let me know as we am actively networking to find these people immediately:
1. lawyer (first to do 501C)
2. non-profit Manager or Executive Director
3. tax accountant
4. FBI agent or retired agent
5. police detective or retired detective
6. representative from NCMEC
7. University research scientist
8. recognized newspaper reporter
9. publicist

MEETING AGENDA (all items should be emailed to all Steering Committee 48 hours before meeting):
15 minutes: monthly cases and results (up to 25 cases and usually 4+ for results so about 30 seconds each)
15 minutes: update on area from each Steering Committee (1 minute each)
10 minutes: improvements shared including team and volunteer networking (1 minute each)
10 minutes: 10 items for voting (1 minute each)
10 minutes: next meeting agenda suggestions and anyone asking for assistance from others
Log of each meeting is kept on file and 1 hour time commitment including starting on time is kept strictly; anyone arriving late is considered listening only till invited to participate.

VOTING:
1. Can always do any case your way and send it directly to authorities (privately, not officially as CF)
2. Can suggest improvements on process in monthly meeting (email to Steering Committee at least 48 hours before meeting so they have time to consider it and you can have one minute in the meeting to support your suggestion; suggestions with you volunteering to follow-through or delegating to other volunteers are only considered).
3. 75% vote by 12 Steering Committee to implement (less than 75% can implement for now)
4. 75% vote by all volunteers for ratification
(for both voting, any one not responding to vote email within 48 hours will be considered voting for majority)

CONFLICT-RESOLUTION:
1. For the safety of the children, conflict is almost always handled personally between the two involved
2. If needed, Steering Committee can privately vote to decide (as meeting item)
3. If conflict is made public or delays a case by one minute, all involved are on probation
1st time: one day probation
2nd time: one week probation
3rd time: one month probation
CF supports everyone to work on cases individually and send them to the authorities privately.

VANISHED-FINDERS and CRIME-SOLVERS
are basically the same with replacing these terms
